BLOG 2: Strayer-Chapter 13 Political Transformation
Reading this chapter I got a sense of what today's present day is like in the past time frame. Countries began to settle to build their empire. These countries had more developing skills such as ship development, navigation, maps, and better ways of sailing. Modern era of 1450-1750 doesn't exactly show what today's development is but it shows how present day necessities were formed.
BLOG 1: Strayer, Intro to Part 4
Throughout the text it explains these three centuries that are labeled as "the early modern era." Part 4 is separated into three chapters, chapters 13 through 15. These chapters summarize early modern era, globalization, European's role in world affairs, and also modern societies. Japan, Asia, and China were mentioned in these chapters mainly because these three experienced population growth and a lot of changes being made to their societies.
